Jesse Oliver is a trans* queer poet from Boorloo who writes kind of slammy, often fantastical and optimistically emotive performance poetry. His work strives to highlight the strength in vulnerability, drawing from and exploring lived experiences and using them to connect with an audience. Jesse is a previous Australian Poetry Slam Champion and TEDx Performer, and has toured his slam works internationally, but nowadays writes poetry with a bit more space between words.
