Rae White is a queer non-binary transgender writer. They are the author of poetry collections Milk Teeth (UQP 2018) and Exactly As I Am (UQP 2022), and creator of the Bitsy game stand up. Rae won the Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize and was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards, Queensland Literary Awards, and Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. Rae is the founder of Uplift, a community poetry initiative, and #EnbyLife, a journal for non-binary creatives.
